ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - PIONEER HEALTHCARE LIMITED

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible individual to join our growing organisation as an administration assistant.
The post holder will be part of a busy team providing a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service and a significant part of the role will be spent dealing with incoming calls to the service relating to appointments and other queries. The role will also include accurate and timely input and reporting of patient data, tracking and follow up of diagnostics/pathology results, booking appointments and surgery, liaising with consultants, assisting with the compilation of clinical rotas as well as filing, photocopying, and other administrative tasks.
The post-holder will be expected to provide cover as directed by the Line Manager for other members of the team in their absence and assist with their workloads as necessary and undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the grade of the post.
Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess a confidential and sensitive manner. A knowledge of NHS pathways is highly desirable and typing skills would be advantageous. You must enjoy working in a busy, fast paced environment and have the ability to work to strict deadlines with minimal supervision and be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally you should have a flexible approach to working arrangements and be able to meet service need developments
